The Korean Language major focuses on in-depth training in the Korean language, communication skills, and the use of Korean in academic and corporate environments. Students study the structure of Hangul, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, as well as translation and interpretation skills.
In addition to language training, students are also equipped with knowledge about Korean culture, society, tourism, and customs.

Admission scores for Korean Studies and the Korean Language vary depending on each university and admission year. Overall, these majors have score ranges suitable for a wide range of students.
The Korean Studies major is offered at many major universities such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, HUFLIT, HUTECH, Van Lang University, and Van Hien University, with admission scores ranging from around 15 to over 25 points.
The Korean Language major is available at institutions such as Hanoi University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, University of Foreign Language Studies – University of Danang, and FPT University, with admission scores ranging from moderate to high depending on the admission method.
